What is Bontera Alfalfa Bio-Boost?
A water-soluble microbial product specially developed for Alfalfa and other grass crops that features Sinorhizobium meliloti for efficient biological nitrogen fixation. It improves fertility in biotically stressed soils and promotes plant growth and vigor. This product increases crop yield and helps Alfalfa and grasses overcome environmental stresses.
How does Bontera Alfalfa Bio-Boost work?
The sinorhizobium meliloti is an endosymbiont that specializes in nitrogen fixation in Alfalfa crops. Microbes are suspended in a mixture of potassium humate and corn steep liquor, providing a beneficial food source for the microbes to populate the soil. The product must be used in conjunction with the growers’ fertilizer program. The use of either Bontera SA-10 or Bontera Del Mar is highly recommended in conjunction with this product.

Beneficial Microbes in Alfalfa Bio-Boost Include:
Sinorhizobium meliloti
Crops: Product is specially designed for Alfalfa seeds/crop. Can be used for other varieties of grasses as well.
Foliar Application: A 2.2 lb. bag is sufficient for a 10–20-acre application. Apply as early as possible to allow microbes to stabilize the root system. Subsequent applications are recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Storage Guidelines: Store product in a cool dry place until ready to use. Once mixed with water, any unused product can be appropriately stored for 5-7 days for later use.
Shelf Life: 24 Months
Tank Compatibility: For best results apply in conjunction with either Bontera SA-10 or Bontera Del Mar. Do not apply with pesticides or similar products. They may be applied separately 5-7 days apart if necessary.
